IMG College and Learfield Sports are the premier college marketing, licensing and media companies in college sports. Both companies have long-standing relationships in the collegiate arena, providing multimedia, marketing and licensing/brand management representing more than 250 of the nation’s top collegiate properties.
In March 2012, IMG College and Learfield Sports joined forces to create IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions. In doing so, we compiled an outstanding leadership team and developed a premier training and development center. IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions provides a professional sales force, working either within the athletic department or the national sales center, to increase ticket sales and enhance customer service.
•Oversight and responsibility for operational management and strategy of the IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions business.
•Develop Business Intelligence strategy and leadership team to create value at all properties.
•Assist with aggressive solicitation of new ticket sales business partners and other business development efforts within ticket sales.
•Responsible for growing the profitability of the business and efficient expense management.
•Provide leadership to Director of Sales, Director of Partner Services, Regional Managers and General Managers on best practices, increased sales, and partner relationship management.
•Extensive travel to support and maintain existing partners and on occasion to prospective partners.
•Master’s degree in business or sports-related curriculum is helpful, but not mandatory.
•Strong background required in ticket sales management, either at the professional or collegiate sports level.
•Recent experience and expertise in Business Intelligence functions, such as CRM and data base management, lead generation and scoring.
•Experience managing day-to-day relationships with college or professional administration with respect to building a successful sales partnership required.
•Experience in a Sports Management, Media or Sales/Sponsorship culture is preferred.
•Pro sports league ticketing operational experience preferred
Relocation not necessary. Open to various locations for the individual be based.
